The Ultimate Animation Combo : Turbo C++
The Stylish Springs and the Conical Waterfall featured a spring animation and a cone animation respectively. Both of them were based on a single type of geometrical shape which was animated using BGI Graphics. The current project contains several types of such animations bundled together. This is the final project in our Turbo C++ Animation Series.
The Ultimate Animation Combo
Just like the previous projects, the current project utilises several functions from the BGI library to render the cones. If you need an introduction to the BGI library, read How to Create Graphical Applications using Turbo C++ 3.0 IDE (BGI library). To learn in detail about BGI library functions, read BGI Library Functions – Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4.
How does this program work?
This program consists of several rendering modules, where each module handles a different kind of animation. Each animation, when started, waits for user input in order to stop or to proceed to the next animation. The next animation starts when the user presses a key (except ESC) and stops when the user presses the ESC key. The program displays the following types of animation sequentially:
a) Circle Animation : 1 to 4
b) Rectangle Animation : 1 & 2
c) Line Animation
d) Bar Animation
e) Circle and Line Animation
f) Pixel Animation
g) Text Animation : 1 & 2
h) 3D Text Animation
i) Bitmap Animation
There are 14 types of animated graphics & text in this program. All these have been displayed below.
